This geotextile membrane is a needle-punched, non-woven fabric designed to enhance the durability and structural integrity of liquid or sheet-applied waterproofing systems. Instead of being woven like traditional cloth, the synthetic fibers are mechanically entangled using needles to create a highly porous, felt-like, and flexible mat. When embedded between layers of liquid waterproofing coatings (such as polyurethane, acrylic, or bitumen), it forms a tough, reinforced composite matrix that prevents cracks from splitting the waterproofing layer. It is also widely used as a separation or cushion layer beneath heavy roofing components like gravel ballast, pavers, or drainage cells.
